Kyuchu's ESS students enjoyed making Easter Eggs. America and Europe have a tradition of dyeing eggs with beautiful, fun designs. The eggs are hardboiled and then dyed with food coloring.

 　　　 On Easter morning, parents hide the dyed eggs for children to find. It is a contest to see who can find the most eggs.

           This year the junior high students were very creative. Some students made designs with space designs like stars and the Milky Way. One student made an egg with the KG mark on it and another made an Anpanman one.

           The ESS students enjoyed experiencing an American tradition. Below are some pictures of the students dyeing eggs.

　中学校のESS同好会がイースターエッグを作りました。アメリカやヨーロッパではイースター(復活祭)のときに卵に色を付けたり、デザインをして楽しむ伝統的な文化があります。イースターエッグにはゆで卵を使い、色付けの際は食用の着色料を使用します。

　イースターの朝には、親は子どもたちのために色付けした卵を隠し、だれが一番多く卵を見つけるかを競います。

　九中生は工夫をこらしたイースターエッグを作りました。天の川を思わせる宇宙を表現した作品や、九学のロゴ、アニメのキャラクターのイラストを描く生徒もいました。
